Soundbaths By NTHNL

I began my meditation music practice in 2018 as a means of combatting my own anxiety. Over the course of my practice I have discovered many ways to calm and heal the mind using music, sound, and light. I work in private and group sessions. My electro-acoustic Soundbaths incorporate pre-composed tracks created using healing binaural frequencies played alongside impassioned performances on a wide variety of instruments. The frequencies provide a calming aural bed while the performances allow for deep introspection and emotional processing.

Private Sessions:

Private sessions are tailored to one’s individual needs and desires and uses a method called audiovisual entrainment (AVE) to access deep mental states in which a person can deal with inner turmoil in a peaceful environment. AVE utilizes a blinking light and sound passing back and forth between the ears at specific frequencies, to activate calming effects. Your brain then syncs with this frequency and is able to relax immediately. Typically we will begin the practice with affirmations based on your concerns and a brief guided meditation. Private session last from 30 minutes to an hour.

Group Sessions

Group sessions typically begin with a quick stretching session, affirmations and a guided meditation. Listeners will then close their eyes and sit (or lay) on the floor or mats and absorb the healing sounds. I will often play a wide variety of flutes, bowls, bells and keyboards throughout the course of the Soundbath. Typically these last about an hour.
